Miami heads back to Florida to face the 1-4 Jaguars. Fortunately for the Jags one of their few strengths has been run defense. If the Jags are to have any shot at staying in this game they will have to load up against RB Ricky Williams and force QB Fiedler to make some bad passes and turn the ball over. Fiedler has done all right in these situations and wants to prove that he can win games with his arm. Jacksonville’s defense is susceptible to big games with power backs; Stephen Davis rushes for 111 yards week 1, look for Ricky to pound the ball at the Jag defense. He had quiet game Vs the Giants; don’t expect Ricky to be a non-factor two weeks in a row. QB Leftwich is facing a tough front seven and secondary in this Miami defense, he will likely struggle to make reads and not move the ball through the air as effectively as he did against San Diego. Look for the Dolphins “D” to handle the Jag offense, while their offense moves the ball efficiently up field. This is Miami’s second game on the road; this has not been a problem for this team in the past as they are 4-1 ATS when facing a non-divisional opponent on the backside of a pair of road games.
